Building on students’ prior knowledge about ID principles and on their areas of practice, the objectives of this course include: Differentiate the learning needs of diverse populations, including K-12 and adult educationApply learning experience design (LXD) to the creation of educational experiencesDetermine pros and cons to trends in ID (e.g., adaptive learning, augmented reality, and gamification) through theoretical perspectivesIdentify characteristics of well-designed learning experiences according to standards like Quality Matters and University of Florida (UF) Standards and Markers of ExcellencePropose innovative solutions to challenges in the ID field
